Lessons Learned Building a Career in STEM

Growing up in the 1970s, STEM – in my case engineering and computer science – wasn’t a field women typically pursued. So when I showed up at Virginia Tech it was no surprise that I was one of the only women in my mechanical engineering class. Later on, at Boston University working on my Master’s Degree in computer science, the picture wasn’t much different. FPT IS develops and operates the Digital Number Transfer System

In just two months, FPT IS, ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ and the Telecommunications Department have successfully built up the process of transferring the number of subscribers. According to Ahsan Vaqar, Global Product Manager for ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ, this is a "utopian" time because of ÎÞÓǶÌÊÓƵ’s experience in deploying to other countries for at least 6-8 months, showing competence and experience.
